Eyes

There are
Things you ignore that I know,
Shattering windows to my soul,
Eyes that while staring
Began to grow blurry,
Motion's a flurry
Til these windows are slurry,
Gelatinous mess is
Words, pretty dressings,
Sharp points poking fingers,
On the spits, sizzling singers
Yap and throw zingers
In these sightless eyes,
Which have ceased to feel
Since the piercing of steel
Stole the light
And with it, my sight,
And now I just sit
In my pile of shit,
Alone in the dark,
And it's for the best
At least, that's what I've heard
From people in zest.
